"Everything was great while visiting Catalonia Riviera Maya! We stayed over Christmas and New Year's, and the festivities were great for both! One major downfall is their restaurant reservation system. We had four people, two people in two rooms. The reservation system would only let us pick up to two people, I put "4 people" in the notes section and in the section that asked how many people in your room and it only worked once. We got turned away once and had to clarify ahead of time for two restaurants who couldn't promise us a spot, but did end up getting us in. Just a little frustrating when you're not wanting the buffet again and want to have a nice meal with your family. Otherwise, everything was great! And the entertainment group was great, including the pool entertainment and the shows at night!"

"This was our second trip to this resort. We enjoyed the easy access from one area to the next, and especially enjoyed the long walks on the beach. We loved the area around the infinity pool at Akumal. Our room was clean, and housekeeping did an excellent of tidying and restocking every day. The entertainment was enjoyable. we are already planing our next trip!"
