"The only reason to stay at this old and poorly maintained hotel is the daily chicken racing at 5 pm. This was unique and good fun. The hotel was cheap and for that you got poor shared facilities, We didn’t eat at the pub but the actual room was one of the worst I’ve ever been in."

"Rest stop on way to Longreach. 1930's house was full of character and quirkilly decorated.Host was very prompt will communications and help.Beds were comfortable and we had a peaceful nights sleep.Really enjoyed the little extra touches.....chocolate & milk"
