"This hotel is at the west exit of the Okayama train station, which is extremely convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included. The bus and tram stations are nearby that get you to the castle and the garden. "

"Pillow is a bit hard. I think it could be changed if request. I stayed 2 nights and only pressed the "change towels button". The towel bag was hung on my door handle. They didn’t come inside to do cleanup (i.e. rubbish bag also not changed). I saw someone put towel bag inside "used towel" in the onsen area. It is not very hygiene if it places clean towel again."

As for the building, to call this hotel "dated" is an understatement as it is right out of the 1960s. The room was hot and the AC was not working properly. "Everything I’m looking for. Modern and clean. Quiet. Lovely view of city and mountains in the distance. Really easy to walk to from the main train station. Watch your maps first time, there’s a little parking lot with bridge to enter the hotel. Tub was bigger than usual nice for a soak. Everything you neee in the room like little fridge. "
