Tldr: the actual place reflected the price. Nothing explicitly wrong but the pictures advertising it were deceptive. Nothing explicitly wrong with the place, i think the pictures used by the property were a little deceptive but considering the price I wasn't upset. It was a very secure and convenient location. Our TV didn't work upon arrival but we never bothered to ask them to fix it. We also left a pair of headphones there which were claimed to not be found but again that's more on us for the mistake. The fridge and microwave were convenient.

Nice traditional style Japanese house. Not super far from Kyoto station. Very nice shower/bath area. Futons were very thin and not much cushioning. Overall a pleasant stay

Great place. Helpful staff. Location is far enough away from the busy areas to feel peaceful, but close enough to travel to by foot. We loved our stay in this hotel and neighbourhood.
