"This is a lovely new hotel in Kathmandu. Spotless rooms and attractively maintained exterior and interior. Nothing to complain about and only good things to say. When the power went out several times, as it is prone to do occasionally in Kathmandu, the generator kicked in immediately. Heater worked well, for the cool nights. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great. So was the coffee. I will stay here again."

"Wonderful stay at the hotel. It was perfect location in a quieter area but still close to main road where can get transport easily to move around. Many lovely restaurants and cafe in area and safe to walk around with less traffic also by hotel. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again. "

Nepal Nirvana

"Everything about this hotel was amazing! I was greeted at the airport for my transfer and then with a glass of fresh watermelon juice at check-in. The room was spacious and clean and had adapters for multiple countries. The hotel is quiet and centrally located. The front desk staff helped me coordinate an excursion and the on-site restaurant was delicious. It also included a fabulous breakfast buffet each morning, including an omelette station. Can't say enough about this amazing hotel! Special shout-out to Miss Choten Sherpa at the front desk, Zanak my driver/tour guide and Samudra and Solina in the restaurant. The security guard greeted me each morning, also. Friendly, helpful staff made all the difference."

Beautiful hotel

"The hotel is beautiful located in a quieter neighborhood in Katmandu.Anish at the front desk and every employee at the hotel went above and beyond! The restaurant was delicious and the waiters were very accommodating! We enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa! We definitely recommend this hotel!"

Remains reliable

"I've been staying here on visits for the past five years and the experience has always been a good one. I had a small suite located at a corner of the building and could see the Himalayas out both windows whenever the weather was clear enough. Bed was comfortable and the large desk was a pleasure to use. Wi-fi was strong and internet connection was fast. Hotel restaurant remains a good choice, although somewhat expensive by Nepalese standards. On the other hand I have never gotten sick from eating there and that has some value as well. Certainly will plan to stay here again on my next trip to Katmandu."

"Things I like most about this hotel is the hospitality from the staff. Those staff in front desk are always smiling, I never seen them in a bad attitude. The roof top restaurant and food is really good. It is because of the staff and their Nepali hospitality from their heart, I keep on coming back to stay in Vivanta."

Devine Setting Offering Serenity

"Bujan picked me up at the airport as pre-arranged and transferred me to the hotel. It was a pleasant comfortable journey and Bujan was friendly and hospitable. He proved equally friendly at the hotel checkin and efficiently got me set up in a well appointed spacious room with a nice view of the pool and garden for my short stay. I only wish the stay was longer. The next morning found me on my way after Brianca and her other colleagues got my account settled up and checked out. This would be a devine setting to stay at least a few days to relax and absorb the serenity."
