"My best friend and our two boys had a duck hunt in Hyde County lined up. We needed a place to sleep and take a hot shower for the night and this place checked all the boxes. This isn’t the Hilton, but I wasn’t looking for a stay like that and didn’t want to pay that much. This house is just right for the location and the price. Everything was clean and met our expectations. Hope to see you again soon!"

It was tucked away in the center of Ocracoke just enough for privacy but close enough in town to ride the golf cart right down the street to all the shops and restaurants. "We enjoyed time with children and grandchildren during our stay at River Run!!!! Amazing property, everything listed was very accurate. Beautiful property and view, will definitely be back!!!!"

"While the house is a nice size and has good general amenities, it is a little beaten up and worn for the worse. Shades are broken or don't work, comforters were worn and even dirty, the furniture is a mishmash of different pieces and not well pulled together. Worst of all, the whole place smelled badly fishy when we first walked in and it never went away despite many scented candles etc. The mgt company is nice and tried to help but we left early as the house just wasn't comfortable."
