「The Volcano Union Inn is a fantastic little bed and breakfast. The food at the restaurant is wonderful and the little historical town is a gem. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 stars is because the pillows were not comfortable. 」

For stays like this, where I am by myself and don't need to look after a spouse or kids, I *really* appreciate the ability to get a room for such a reasonable rate. Location is great if you want to explore Old Hangtown, Apple Hill, Gold Bug Mine, or about an hour drive to south Lake Tahoe area. Service was prompt and friendly.
