「The Volcano Union Inn is a fantastic little bed and breakfast. The food at the restaurant is wonderful and the little historical town is a gem. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 stars is because the pillows were not comfortable. 」

「The property is old and rundown. It was fairly clean. Our room should have been advertised as in-room sauna since there was a hot water leak in the bathtub that caused us to leave windows open and run the air conditioner non-stop to avoid excessive dampness (even the towels in the bathroom were damp).」

「Beautiful views. Clean comfortable spacious rooms. Dining choices during the week were awful. breakfast was left uneaten. Coffee in the morning was an issue. They love powdered milk. I loved nearby Placerville. 」

「It was not great from the outside just kinda basic. But the room was clean and all updated. Had coffee pot with flavored creamer and fridge. Shampoo conditioner and hair dryer. It was great for the price 」

The owner went above and Bryon to make sure I was comfortable with my choice of room and had all my breakfast favorites ready for me because I had a very early departure. 「The room has everything you need. There’s a restaurant next door that has delicious food that you could easily overlook if there wasn’t a menu in the room recommending it. The longer your there the more you appreciate and adore the the place.」

「I enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of my room. It’s an old inn with history. My room was nice with all the amenities. It took a while for the heater to heat the room. The night I stayed it was extremely cold and wintery. 」
