"The staff was very friendly and helpful, but with very limited English. The room was clean and the breakfast good and filling. But the room had no window (without any hint during booking) and unfortunately the hotel is very noisy. And the staff didn't manage to ask a few young people to calm down between 2:00 and 4:00 in the morning - sleep was out of the question!"

However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldn’t use our reservation. I wrote to Expedia and the hotel to cancel the reservation. Expedia said they couldn’t refund the money because they needed to first receive the consent of the hotel and the hotel didn’t respond the hotel...
