Apartments in Stretch Island for Rent

"The numbering of the apartments is odd -- when we picked #1, we thought (based on the photos) that it was the top floor. It turns out that #1 is the middle, #3 is the top, and #2 is the bottom! So instead of a quiet floor, we ended up underneath a group of loud people who were noisy past midnight. As for the apartment, it was clean, and an odd combination of really nice and sort of shabby. "We stayed for a few nights on an anniversary trip. The cabin reminded me of an over water villa on a tropical island, but with much different but equally beautiful scenery! We enjoyed watching a harbor seal, deer, crabs, and other wildlife. The unit was well organized, clean, and tastefully decorated with everything we needed. We used the new gas grill as well as the kitchen. The location was perfect to travel to Seattle as well as checking out nearby hiking and spending time shopping and dining...

"We came to Tacoma for a concert. We are very pleased with the space. The areas is not very nice so if you have kids I would keep that in mind but the interior is wonderful. Lots of space you could put an air mattress in the main bedroom if needed! We had a great experience here."

"Such a unique loft that I adore! Love the added security of the codes to enter the building. Great shops nearby and lots of good food. Very clean apartment and the bed was comfortable. Lounge in same building /below loft. They are open late and play very loud music into the am hours esp on the weekends.Ear plugs and a noise machine are a must if your a light sleeper like myself. Lucky, I travel with these items so I acclimated fine."

"The location of this property was excellent for our needs. It is central to Lakewood and easy access to University Place, North End, and Steilacoom (without having to get on I-5). Lakewood Mall and Steilacoom Park are close by. I wish we could have made use of the lake and firepit, but it was not the right weather that weekend. The room itself was exactly like the pictures. It was a nice sized space and really perfect for 2 people."

"We had a great stay at this property. It's new/renovated, modern, and clean. It's a little hard to tell from the description and images, but the living room is downstairs, the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are up a big flight of stairs. This was a little tricky with our toddlers and might be a big staircase for the elderly or disabled people. But if that's not a problem for you, then it's a great property! Would stay again!"

"Great property in downtown Tacoma. About 35 minutes from airport. Great place. Comfortable beds and very clean. Would stay there again for sure. Only negative was the strength of the wifi but, who cares, it was a vacation so Wi-Fi isn't necessary. ❤️💯👍"
