"Part of the Sure Collection of Best Western. Really nice setting with 2 pubs directly across the road for dining options. My room was on the ground level and looked directly on to the car park so the car was only a few feet from the door which was really convenient. Really nice and friendly staff and very helpful. "Charming old coaching inn. I stay here regularly when visiting Hemel. The service and breakfast is always excellent. Room no 1 is one of the smallest and usually OK. On this occasion, there was a noisy fan outside the room which meant I didn’t get much sleep. "

The bathroom was OK. The shower was over a high sided bath and was a mixer rather than thermostatic. Plenty of hot water. Towels were fluffy and big!
