"We really enjoyed our stay. We were visiting Troyes to connect with old friends and the location was ideal as it was a short walk to the train station and all of the places we wanted to visit in town. While the hotel is fairly basic, the room was large and clean."

Couple of niggles- parking was extra (I clearly hadn’t read the info clearly) and it was sooooooo hot in the rooms (naively I thought that this would have been solved since so many people had previously commented on it) Overall, it was good value and well situated."

"The property is very quaint and in the pedestrianised part of the old town, which is lovely and handy for an evening stroll. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a little bit of a challenge with a baby and pram/luggage (no lift, so beware when booking). The apartment was clean but a bit "unfinished" looking with some raw edges to the kitchenette counters and a very exposed water tank in the bathroom. "The property is under renovation. Fresh paint and new bathroom and flooring and hall carpet on our floor. There was only one small pillow each for my husband and me. I did not request another but should have. No hairdryer in the room. The breakfast had a nice selection. The location was great for exploring the old town and canals. "We enjoyed our overnight stay at ACE. The carpark was convenient,we felt safe.The room was comfortable and we were able to put some food in freezer bags in the fridge and freezer. We enjoyed being able to take hot water for coffee and soup from the breakfast room even though it was late at night. The man at reception was very helpful and pleasant."
