"It was a pleasant surprise to get offered a cookie upon my arrival. The staff were great, thorough and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is the best I've ever had at a hotel, with absolutely amazing house-cooked maple bacon that had to be 1/4 inch thick. The tub was very large and the counter space in the room was very long and spacious. I couldn't have been happier with the large size of the room, the great staff and the delicious breakfast. I came on a Monday night, so there was too long of a wait for my preference at the Sandbox because Monday's are live music nights, but I'm sure this would have been a plus if I was able to factor it in. Plus this hotel was right by the River Walk so I could walk to my conference each morning, enjoying the beautiful scenery and great weather. "
