"This isn't a hotel or motel room so you'll be disappointed if you judge it by those standards. The private rooms are basically a hostel without the sharing part. So the 4 stars are relative to the price. I was worried when booking discount accommodations that the place when be dirty or have problems with pests or safety so I was relieved not to have any of those issues. I also like that guests can come and go as they please any time of day using an electronic front door code. But for the cost...

"First time staying in a hostel. Staff were very helpful. Liked having the option of being able to have a female only room. Felt safe and was able to come and go as I pleased. Lovely deck roof area too"

"It is a very nice 3-storey old building, like "heritage". Stairs are quite steep, though. Those, who have big baggages, may also take this into consideration, on top of price. I lived on 2nd floor; it was 4-bed room. "
