「Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. 「Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great to have the pool and a lovely view over the lagoon. Could walk to restaurants so a car wasn’t necessary. Owners quick to respond and helpful. Wish entire unit was air conditioned and that kayaks were located where two retirees could use them. We wanted to kayak the lagoon, but couldn’t have brought it back up the steep driveway. 」

「Very comfortable Villa with everything you need to be self sufficient. Spacious with a lovely deck looking out to ocean. Ocean breeze or fans to keep you cool. Window screens were great to keep out bugs. Ure was so helpful and when we had a maintenance issue she was on to it straight away. A very generous late check out was also much appreciated. Watched whales go past as we sat on the deck. Highly recommend.」

「Very low key and on the beach, Te Rito captured everything good about island life. Michelle was nearby to assist if we needed help and we did not. 「Our stay at Makayla Palms was absolutely fantastic. We had not stayed in this part of the island before, but it was truly perfect and we can’t wait to stay with you again next year! Before we arrived, the communication was excellent. We had a late check in, when the office was closed, but everything had been communicated to us regarding keys etc beforehand so we arrived and settled in with no problems. Constantly barking dogs at all hours of the night and morning. Could use some solar lights around pool to see at night. 「The stay was fine there was no internet which was an issue for us with a business. This is a very beautiful spot, the manager is lovely we met the owner on arrival very friendly. The bad internet was everywhere on the island at the time it seems. All in all it is very lovely here very peaceful beautifully appointed with everything you need. 「暑い場所なのにエアコンが無く暑くて困りました。窓には網戸がある窓と無い窓があり、網が無い窓からは虫やヤモリが入ってきてしまい開けっ放しには出来ず困りました。部屋の近くに小さなプールがあったのですがゴミが浮いていて5日間滞在しましたが掃除をしている感じは無く結局滞在中に泳ぐことはありませんでした。このホテルのチェックアウトは１０時と早く、１３時までのレートチェックアウトをお願いしたところ５０ドルだと言われました。このホテルは１泊１万円もしないホテルなのに３時間で５０ドルは高すぎです。ちょっと感じの悪いオーナーでリピートする気はありません。しかもWIFIも有料で非常に高かったです。」

「If you don't mind the walking out to the main road in the heat, then this is the place for you. It's like a villa/apt of your own. We got a honeymoon villa that is more than 400 square feet and that includes, a bathroom, a simple kitchen area, dining, sitting, and bed.」

「Great having the option of free shuttle between the villas and the Pacific Resort to make getting to town easier without a car. They were very responsive and helpful. Villa had an amazing view and everything needed inside.」
