The room was lovely but (here’s an example of tired) the bathroom window was warped so wouldn’t close. The restaurant/bar was closed so there was no place to go other than our room. "Amazing place and pub/overnight stay. This is a little gem and the owners and staff should be proud of the great pub and guest rooms they run. The locals are friendly and nice, and this pub is at the heart of the community as it should be. Anyone who wants fantastic food, great staff and company needing a room or meal within 20 miles of this place should divert there. I cannot commend this establishment enough. I travel all over the UK with my job, and this is by fsr my favourite place to stay...

"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"
