"Our check in wasn’t easy. We were given keypad codes for the building and our room but what wasn’t explained was that you had to use the larger keypad to put your room code in so that you could get your door key. In the apartment, everything was provided but out of the 6 glass tumblers we had, 4 had chips on the edge of the glass which was dangerous. We reported it to Reception staff and they changed them straight away which was good! The cutlery drawer needed to be wiped of crumbs but other...

"This is a beautiful hotel with modern rooms, coffee makers, and made service every day. To take advantage of the wonderful spa while you were there. I think the price is a little high, but it’s definitely worth it. My only observation negative is that it is a 1/2 to 1 mile walk to the shopping and restaurant areas. This may not sound far, but when it’s the dead of winter and dark outside, it is a consideration. Taxis in this city or quite expensive."

"The rental home was amazing! Homeowners made you feel at home - offered sleds for kids and advice on what to see. Very modern and well equipped home with every detail sought out. We will def recommend this home to others!"

"Our group of 11 had a wonderful stay here. We came to see the northern lights and we didn’t even have to leave the boat to see them! The location gets you away from the city light pollution but close enough that trips into town aren’t a hassle. The interior is beautifully crafted with plenty of space for our whole group. The owner was so attentive and easy to reach for questions. I would recommend and stay again. "

"The house is a bit outside town in a separate peaceful island. If you like more peaceful location, this is a good option. The town itself is easily reachable if you have a car. Multiple grocery stores are also nearby. The suite was well equipped and is suitable for two persons. The owner was also nice and we had easy communication with her of the practical accommodation matters. "

"We had a rough start to our first day in Tromso but Linn and Birger were so gracious and helpful! They even helped us pick up some groceries. They helped make our stay so wonderful and gave fantastic recommendations for seeing the northern lights and also fun Tromso activities! We even rented their car for our stay which was so convenient and perfect for family outings! The house was wonderful and had everything we needed to help us feel comfortable and at home. "Huge impressive villa with loads of space and a grand balcony perfect for viewing the Aurora (which we did nightly in early September). Nice short walk to the local Extra supermarket. Would have been 5* if the undertaking to meet and introduce us to the villa had been fulfilled. No one came and some aspects (eg the cooking facilities, the wonderful coffee maker; the microwave etc - all actually very impressive) took us a few days to understand and manage."

Brilliant staff

"We booked late having had to alter our flights. Unfortunately we were too late to eat anywhere in the area but the lovely receptionist offered us cookies and coffee. Our luggage didn’t arrive with us but again the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful this morning whilst we anxiously waited our luggage. She called us to let us know when it arrived - saving us a lot of money buying extra clothes!! "

"I had emailed in advance about early check in and understood it was based on availability. The rooms became available while I was sitting in the lobby. Would've been nice if someone had mentioned it to me as I was right next to them. That's my only complaint. Everything else was exceptional! "

"Very cozy mini apartments. Well stocked kitchenette (appliances, plates, pans, etc). Comfy bed. Next door to a large grocery store and centrally located. A laundry room was a plus. Nice gym that we didn’t use- no room for gym shoes in our luggage. Very secure with in-app key access to building and apartment. "
