Nice and uncrowded when we went. No shuttle to ski lodge on Sundays, though.

The ski area was closed but, the drive up there was chocked full of beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Santa Fe ski basin is 15 miles outside the city up a winding road. The ski basin is at a very high elevation (12,500 ft.) and usually has good snow. Good mix of easy, moderate, advanced runs. No high speed chairs but we have never encountered long lines except holidays.
Fun small mountain with balance of terrain. Usually good snow attributible to 12,400 elevation. If new snow, get an early start. Car parking lines can get long on weekends. Mid mountain Totemoffs often has bands on weekends - check website.
