Two things to be aware of: -Its enormously BUGGY. It's on Wilderness Road so not surprising but bring lots of big spray and a a fogger. -The bed in the guest bedroom is not that uncomfortable but it squeaks like nothing I've heard before. "We had a wonderful three night stay at the cabin. Communication before and during our stay was perfect, and the cabin itself is lovely. It provided the perfect home base for Grandma's Marathon in Duluth (about 1 hour away). The grounds are beautiful (and perfect for bird watching!). We also enjoyed day trips to Pattison State Park and Interstate State Park for hiking. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a secluded getaway that still offers access to many attractions!"

"The space and the all amenities were perfect. The lake is amazing, the swimming and the all lake toys provided were awesome. The fishing was a little slow but that probably had to do with the heat and the fishermen, ha! The hosts were very responsive and super friendly. The location was perfect being just 5 minutes from town and close to a few other fun towns but we didn't really leave much. We would definitely recommend and will likely go again."

"My boyfriend and I wanted to celebrate our 2 year anniversary somewhere special and we found this cabin and it was perfect! It is so beautiful and cozy on the inside, we loved being able to listen to vinyls and play board games by the fire. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need! The views are stunning from anywhere in the cabin but especially the bedroom! it was beautiful to wake up to the sun coming in through the windows! great place and will stay again in the future!"

"We were very pleased with the log cabin . The wood interior was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen appliances were all quite new as well as the furniture. Very much enjoyed the gas fireplace as a touch of warmth during 2 days when the weather was rainy, cool, and windy. A very wet May season resulted in a lot of mosquitoes, but the screen porch was helpful to still enjoy the spring season."
