The tuk tuk drivers outside the hotel entrance were constantly soliciting services which got tiresome after the second day but we understood their motivations… everyone needs to make a living. "Wonderful greetings and attention from all staff during 5 day stay. Service from housekeeping, spa, reception, breakfast personnel and driver met or exceeded expectations. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had nice food variety. "

"Nice property and very staff. Had a pleasant breakfast there as well. When checking out, they held me up because of some very old stains on the sheer curtain that were behind the main curtains that I hadn’t even seen. Once I convinced that because the stains were dry and didn’t smell, they were obviously very old and there long before I checked in, they finally let me go. "

All the staff were great but I would like to point out one young gentleman who, despite being profoundly deaf, was always helpful and professional. I’m not being patronising (I hope) but his disability was not obvious but some guests should realise that he used hand signals very effectively and raising your voice in English or Spanish is not...
