"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time. "Amazing staff, very handy location. I have to give the bed and pillow 1/10. Very uncomfortable for me. If you like a very hard bed you’ll like it. Buffet breakfast was a good start to the day and a small but very handy laundry in the basement. "
