"We were a family with young children and stayed at Villa B, which was a standalone 3-floor loft-style apartment. It worked really well for us - bedroom with 2 queen-sized beds and ensuite bathroom (including bathtub, washing machine and heater for clothes drying). The second "storey" was a small but well-equipped kitchenette, with a seating area. On the third "storey" was a loft with two sets of futons available. Villa A is closest to the road so we did hear the occasional vehicle passing by...

"The hotel is very class and offer a lot, one down side is we were ask to pay additional for my son where we had stated clearly the age during booking. Hotel always give reason thy do not link with hotels.com and rules and regulations are different. "

"An absolutely beautiful hotel, the staff were very welcoming and polite. Their service was exceptional. The luxurious room with private onsen was a wonderful unique experience. The room, furniture and bathroom were in great condition. We would definitely come back! "

"This hotel is although old but it is very nice. The surrounding is serene & beautiful. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The only slight oversight was when the housekeeper missed out on a few minor details such as not taking away dirty cups & used glasses, not replacing the same number of towels. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay."

"A true traditional ryokan experience. The feel and service of all the amentities was superb. We were worried about the food as it was very unique. However all of it exceeded expectations. All the food was worth trying and had such an earthy feel to it. The service of the staff members were impeccable. Very kind and helpful. The place is little far to get to. So recommend calling ahead for shuttle service from the ryokan. Highly recommended."

"This was probably the most amazing experience I have ever had! The highlight of my partner and I’s trip to Japan. The staff went above and beyond amazing, the food was the best I have probably ever eaten, and the private onsen and room were perfect. I cannot recommend this unique and perfect experience enough. I wish we booked another night and when we come back to Japan, I will prioritize staying again. Literally a perfect experience with amazing staff - thank you so much! "
