"The property is tired, and where they seem to be replacing the beds, to be perfectly honest the entire place needs renovating, from rooms to food offerings. The rooms are incredibly noisy, I could hear a gentleman’s entire conversation on his phone next door, the bedroom doors are also incredibly thin and locked with a key (not auto lock), and the flooring is cheap laminate. All of this means that apart from the bed there is nothing in the room to absorb any sounds. Breakfast also leaves...

"Check-in and the reception service were fine. The breakfast in the morning was great. The room, however, reeked of smoke and was really dated. I’m not sure how they justify €200 per night. The location is lovely and great for a restful break. We stopped off for a day off on a trip around Germany as we knew it would be hot. "Room was nice and spacious, bed is firmer than I liked. Staff was excellent, neighborhood needs a little upkeep. Price was good for what we got, I just wish the bed was a bit more comfortable. "

"We have stayed here in numerous occasions and the standards are always at high levels. Friendly staff, quiet location and within easy access to Berlin and surrounds with rental car as well as public transportation. Nice array of restaurants in close proximity of the hotel. Just wish that they would start including some vegan options in their breakfasts. "

"The hotel was absolutely gorgeous like it was quiet staff was super friendly and it was tucked away in a bit quieter area I was super impressed by the breakfast, gotta have the breakfast! A bit sad we didn’t get to try the wellness area which looked grandiose I would most definitely recommend and stay again! Good job villa kastania 😊 "
