Liveaboard Lifestyle on the Indian River Lagoon

Peacemaker is a "classic", 32' Sedan Cruiser docked in a marina basin directly on the Indian River Lagoon. If you ever wondered what living on a boat would be like, this is it. Peacemaker is perfect for couples and small families but please understand that staying aboard a boat is a different experience than staying in a hotel room. It's a boat. It will be different but as our previous guests have said, Peacemaker is a unique and amazing experience.

It is like an RV but on the water. Peacemaker is completely self-contained. That means it has a full galley, Refrigerator/Freezer, Stove, Microwave, Coffee maker, Toaster Oven, hot and cold water, dinette, air conditioning, Internet TV, two separate berths, bathroom and more. And like any live aboard boat, you should be aware of a few things. It is on the water and sometimes the boat will rock (Rocks you to sleep) and sometimes makes funny noises (water lapping against the hull). You should be steady on your feet. The morning dew will sometimes make the exterior decks wet. For this reason, Peacemaker Charters and the Cay Marina will not be liable for slip and falls. We make every effort to provide you with a safe, FIVE STAR experience and our 5 Star reviews speak for themselves.

Watch beautiful sunrises and moonrises over the water with a cup of coffee/Tea (complimentary) or your favorite wine. And if the timing is right, you can see a rocket launch from the deck of Peacemaker. There are lots of fantastic waterfront restaurants and entertainment nearby the Marina and only a two hour drive to most theme parks. Minutes to the beaches, fishing and the famous Sebastian Inlet.

We will personally greet you upon arrival and show you everything that you need to know about living aboard Peacemaker.

Peacemaker can sleep up to six but is more comfortable for up to four adults.

Peacemaker remains in her slip during your stay. If desired and if the Captain is available, separate arrangements can be made, outside of VRBO, for navigation away from the marina. Additional charges apply.

Fishing is not allowed in the marina.

Great Boat……Noisy Location
Everything was wonderful except the noise from boats and engines being worked on during the week days starting at 8:00 am. Possibly having the boat moored on one of the outer slots of the pier would have been the tranquil experience I anticipated.

A unique getaway experience
Not just another hotel room! I was looking for a new and different experience for myself and my son, who has autism. A few days on this houseboat turned into a delightful and surprising adventure for my son and I. It was relaxing, yet filled with opportunities. You can be as chill or as active as you desire. You can stroll the docks, chat with folks in the marina, watch pelicans, see dolphins frolic, and be gently rocked by lapping waves, or venture out to myriad places within a short drive. The hosts put forth a great welcome; Captain Ron’s wife, Kristi, met us on site, took us on the boat and explained everything. If you yearn for a great getaway, and have a bit of a sense of adventure, I heartily recommend this. There is no shortage of standard, cookie-cutter hotels. Big yawn. Peacemaker offers much more. Want some excitement? Something that will provide memories and stories to tell? Come aboard! (And, no, the hosts didn’t compensate me for endorsing this property!) :-)

adventure on board Peacemaker
we are seasoned boaters so knew what to expect while staying on a boat. Peacemaker is well equipped and comfortable. It is not a luxury cruise ship. it is located in a wonderful, small marina and if you love Marina life, and watching boats come and go, this could be the perfect place for you. The area is loaded with great restaurants, excursions etc. Captain ron was extremely helpful and responsive to any request. We had I highly recommend him enjoy your time on peacemaker.

Bed was comfortable. We are 80 years old & probably would not stay on a boat again, but wanted to give it a shot. More for younger people. Captain Ron is a very nice guy & helpful.

Very unique stay
Stayed with family for four nights. It was different to stay on a boat. We had a lot of fun, the boat was cozy and the rocking of the boat had us all sleeping like babies. Captain Ron met us at check in to show us around and was very professional and nice. Definitely recommend this made our trip more memorable

Fun boat
My wife and I stayed on this boat for our 36th anniversary. We were considering purchasing a similar boat and wanted to see how we would do at our age now. We have owned many boats in the past but it has been some time. So wanted the experience before we made up our mind and this gave us that opportunity and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

we live in Orlando, so it was a great staycation. My son loves to fish and Sebastian is a great place to do it. He got to fish in the river. Captain Ron chartered us are on the boat bike. We requested exceeded our expectations. We will be back.

Unforgettable and unique experience!
I had this idea of sleeping in a boat at a marina since watching Miami Vice as a kid... I did not blink when i found this opportunity. Captain Ron greeted us at the marina, showed us the boat and in minutes we felt already "at home". This is a real boat, meaning that he goes on trips while it's not rented for overnighters like us, then it's the perfect boat to have the real experience without the need to travel by water or spend $500,000 on a vessel. My daughter, wife and I found it spacious and very clean. Captain Ron had the beds ready and some complementary items throughout the boat. The marina adds to the positive experience: There are many similar boats, the workers as well as patrons are very friendly and the place in general is clean and secure. The bathrooms and showers at the marina are at steps away from the boat. There is plenty to do around the marina: restaurants and bars with live music, beaches, parks and activities. The area is quiet and peaceful. Morning person? grab a cup of coffee and seat at the front of the boat to enjoy an amazing sunrise! Captain Ron was easy to reach and deal with, making our stay extremely pleasant. We are looking forward to repeat the experience soon. Highly recommended!

Unique boat accommodation you’ll ALWAYS remember!
Like many people, we’ve stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years, but never ***anything** so unique and fun as a boat! (Large cruise ships don’t count 😉). Captain Ron was outstanding, personally meeting us at check in for a mandatory (and extremely helpful & easy) orientation of the boat. This is not your typical short term rental where simply giving someone a key code to enter will suffice🙂 We totally loved the marine vibe of sleeping on a boat and texting pictures of us on the boat to friends & family. Located in a marina close to everything in Sebastian and Vero Beach, you’ll love the location too! Bravo & Thank you Captain Ron!
