"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. The only issue we had was the heat. Unfortunately there were heat warnings throughout this part of Europe in July and the property is not set up yet to deal with...

"The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking! While the property is not near any major sights, it is peaceful and beautiful. Fernanda was very responsive to my questions and her husband assisted us in guiding us around the area to point out places to eat and shop with. Excellent restaurant next door but there are cheaper options in easy driving distance (outside of Sassuolo). "Fee for hotel included entrance to wellness facility next door. It was first class including lockers and showers, steam room, very nice hot tub, and 2 indoor pools, as well as outdoor pool. Don’t forget to bring bath towel from room as they don’t provide towels. Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation and restaurant was closed. They were still able to provide very good buffet breakfast."
