We picked the hotel mainly because of its good location. It's very close to the seashore and also close to bus lines that takes you to siesta beach. They also offer shuttle bus to Lido beach (and the driver is super nice). The surrounding area is also pretty safe, as we walked back to the hotel after 9 pm and didn't see any unfriendly people. The room is spacious and clean. I spent some extra money on purchasing the breakfast when I booked the room, which turned out to be a 35$ coupon. Their breakfast is freshly made bistro breakfast rather than the continental breakfast that you see in most hotel.

This is our favorite place to stay in Sarasota! We are lucky enough to get to the west coast from Miami at least 5 times a year to visit my parents and wouldn’t even think of staying anywhere else. The service upon checkin is the friendliest, easiest anywhere! Coffee and snacks in the lobby and a fabulous restaurant to boot. The most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in (I even ended up ordering three sets of their IHG pillows online after my last stay!)
