"The appartment is lovely, very clean and everything you need. It also has a great garden. Patrick who welcomes you is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Location wise is perfect for the beach, old town and Marina. Negatives are the you have to chase the host for information, They said they could arrange transfers and when i chased to tell them our flight times, they then said they could no longer supply transfers due to car issues. "I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. Walkable to the town, as well as to a beautiful beach for cave tours and a great restuarant. "We stayed here for 4 nights and our stay was great. The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful and greeted us every time with a smile and hello as we were on the same floor. The staff at breakfast and at the bar were also friendly and welcoming. Our room was great with a balcony over looking the pool. The spa treatments were great and value for money was amazing. The only thing to comment on which wasn’t too big an issue was the ‘gym’. An outside area with machines which were weathered and not your usual expectation of a gym. There were lots of reviews commenting about the noise but yeah it was noisy when our balcony door was open but not enough to interrupt our sleep or put us off our stay. Great hotel for location and great facilities with great people that work there."
