"The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"We really enjoyed our stay as from start to finish the owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From getting a drink to getting around Bilbao. "My family and I always enjoy staying at the Hesperia in Bilbao. The staff are friendly, it’s clean and safe. The Hesperia is located near Old Town and the Guggenheim, with tons of great restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping and parks. The train is across the bridge as well making it an ideal location to stay."
