"I really enjoyed the Villa Galé Estoril. It is well located and close to everything you would need within the area. I felt very safe when walking at night. It is quiet area with many restaurants options. I love the themed rooms. It takes you back in time. The pool area is lovely. I did not use the pool on this trip. The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly. Check in and out was quick without any issues. I would stay here again or at any other locations. I highly recommend it."

"A generally good hotel with good rooms, excellent buffet breakfast, nice small pool and well located for the touristy places around the area. Service could be a little bit better; I email them twice before arriving to ask whether there was a kettle in the room and never got a reply and trying to get a refund for unused services was made much more complicated and stressful than it may have been. That aside it was a pretty good stay. "

"The location was good not to noisy or busy. Didn't realise it was right next to Benfica stadium and there were a couple of matches on while we were there. Bathroom was knackered, sink area needs replacing as water damaged over a long period of time. One dishwasher tab provided and a tea towel. No oven gloves or and other kitchen cleaning stuff. "We had a wonderful stay here. Even though it was pouring rain the whole time, we loved all the amenities that were offered at Penha Longa. The staff were incredibly helpful and very kind. Every single one we came in contact with. The indoor pool and spa facilities were amazing! The beautiful chocolate were so special and we bought lots to take home. Our Junior Suite was comfortable and the room service was quick and very good for the kids. We loved our stay and would have loved to stay much longer. Great hotel! "
