Nice property friendly staff. I am American traveling on business. Several workers speak English so very helpful. Kind and friendly staff. It is 1hr drive from airport.

Nice old property. Well maintained. Lovely staff. Limited English, but that’s perfectly fine, when in a non English speaking country. Was very close to the main shopping arcade, therefore super busy around the local streets. Apparently, the street is the largest walking street in all of Latin America.

Honestly I had higher expectations for this hotel but it fell short in a lot of ways. First the positives. The hotel is very nice inside and the staff is friendly. The cost was also very reasonable especially since it included breakfast and free drinks and snacks. The breakfast itself was spectacular and the best part of the hotel. Now for the negatives. Our room was not clean (masks and someone's medicine inside drawers, trash inside trash cans and dust on the floor). It also lacked some basics like hand towels and soap. The standard room is tiny and there is barely any room around the bed. The bathroom is also very small and the shower pressure is way too strong. One of the days they forgot to clean our room. On the night of our check ins we were promised an upgrade the next day and told to not unpack as we will be moved. Well that was later taken back by the manager who said they couldn't accommodate us. Lastly and most importantly this area of Mexico City is way too crowded and it takes 45 minutes to get out of here by Uber and get to Roma or Polanco. It's actually faster to just walk towards your destination and take an Uber when you leave the historic area. A lot of demonstrations take place here so be prepared to hear some noise.
