"5 minute walk to the town centre which was really great! Clean inside, lovely place. Only downside was in the description it didn’t say there was 3 levels in the apartment, having 3 young kids it wasn’t kid friendly but problem solved because there was a sofa bed and 2 extra pullout beds upstairs so my younger children could stay on the top floor with me and my partner. Great price I paid was very impressed! "

"Lovely place to stay in a rural setting. The cottage was cosy and warm, and had everything we needed. The only downside was no wifi, but we had a good phone connection so managed with our hotspot. Jo & Clive were great hosts alwsys available and helpful. It is ideally situated for walk, Buxton, Leek and other peak park towns. Would definitely book it again."

"We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. "

"Enjoyed our stay in Tarvin! The cottage was quaint and comfortable. The amenities were perfect for a weeks stay. It was winter so no garden in bloom but it was lovely, well maintained and I enjoyed some bird watching. "

"Lovely cottage. Secluded spot, very quiet and great views. Very well set up for dogs - great having a fenced field for them to run around safely. Bowls, balls, dog towels, poo bags, etc provided. Very comfy for the humans too!"

"The property is modern, clean and warm with the pictures and listing giving an accurate impression. The only slight criticism we have was that the sofa was a little uncomfortable for sitting on. Also, the parking location wasn't that clear, but we did manage to park outside the property. Our overall impression is favourable and we will definitely be looking to use the property again on our next visit."

"This was our second stay at the hotel. The staff are really welcoming, the hotel is modern, comfortable and facilities are great, especially the pool and spa. We had the most wonderful meal in the restaurant (steak for two), the food was delicious. "

Great new hotel

"Loved this hotel. Everything was really chilled and modern. Rooms were clean and warm enough. Only design issue would be having the gym behind the reception, just seemed odd coming out all sweaty into a dining area and reception. Deffo will return when next going away as so close to the terminal "
