The host, Eda, was an absolute delight. At the beginning of our stay, my wife had a fall at the place we were staying the night before we arrived at Eda's, and was unable to get around easily. She was most kind and caring about our situation and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The property is very relaxing with lots of plants, outdoor furniture, a hot tub and lots of visiting birds to watch (particularly the hummingbirds)! We would definitely stay again. Great Little Place to Stay
Eda was a great host. The property was as described, and in a great neighborhood. There was convenient access to local amenities within a short drive (or walking distance). There was plenty of on-street parking available. It was easy to check in and check out. The wifi worked great! A great place to stay.

Great place near downtown San Rafael
We loved our week in Picnic Valley. Great little place, nice amenities and comfy bed. We loved the outside space and the hot tub! An easy walk to the downtown and groceries and restaurants. Our kids and grandkids live in San Rafael in a tiny house, so we need our own space. We will be back!

Wonderful property!! Perfectly located for a stay in the Bay Area. PLovely California backyard— hot tub a definite plus! The 2 small rooms- bedroom, living room and kitchen were pristine and efficiently organized. We loved our host Eda who was super friendly, welcoming, helpful and fun!! A peaceful cottage getaway for a workspace or vacation destination
This was a tremendous experience from start to finish. Eda is a responsive, kind and professional host. The cottage property exceeded my expectations - and was just as described and shown on the website. I stayed here for a week to work without distraction and it was a perfect "home away from home". The location is fantastic, parking is easy, the neighborhood is calm and quiet and safe. I would strongly recommend this property - just not on that dates I want to rebook :)

The host is fabulous, the cottage is cozy and warm, walking distance to restaurants
Eda is very helpful. The cottage is small but works well. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Parking was always available next to the entry gate. The protracted rain was a bit noisy on the skylight. The jacuzzi was enjoyable. About a 6 block walk to an inviting bakery. Access to the freeway was easy. My dog and I enjoyed it.

Super Host With the Most!
This one is the gold standard of vacation rentals, and one which we've had the pleasure of returning to for the second time. Immaculate, well-appointed, excellent location, plenty of parking and easy access are beyond what is advertised. Very nice
The property seems recently renovated and is very pleasant. All the appliances are up to date along with the bathroom. Everything is perfectly clean. One suggestion to the owner ( who is very pleasant and helpful) -- the space is very tight and would benefit from getting rid of the very large glass top desk which hs not needed and replace it with a small bureau with drawers for our stuff. Also, the hassock is over large for the small space and something smaller would also allow for more room to move around. But, beyond that, we lived our time there.

This little gem was the perfect place to stay while exploring the bay area. The full kitchen and grill were great for cooking. The hottub was a perfect way to cap off a day of adventuring. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Eda's cottage. It was quiet, clean and so comfortable. The garden and sitting areas were beautiful. It was so relaxing in the evening to sit in the garden area and watch the hummingbirds fly around. Eda is very knowledgeable of the area and had many good recommendations for us. She is a very pleasant host.
