Great experience- hotel and restaurant
We had a great experience. We went end of March, and this looks like a summer hotel, but the rooms and everywhere we went was perfectly maintained. Clean and comfortable. The restaurant was really good, even the local wine and the olive oil we brought home. It’s a family business and they are present from the beginning till the restaurant service.

Very peaceful. Excellent location - easy access to San Gimignano and perfect for trips to some wonderful Tuscan villages and towns. Friendly and helpful staff, good quality buffet breakfast, comfortable rooms and great shower (with soap etc. provided). The restaurant serves very good food.

The hotel is obviously not sold out and yet the staff claim it was sold out and that late checkout would not be possible. Why end the client stay this way? Leave a bad taste in the mouth when it would be so easily to accommodate the customer. There are so many unused rooms in this large complex. Pity.

Great hotel near San Gimignano
This is a really nice hotel, with a beautiful pool, comfortable, clean and big rooms, fantastic breakfast, and a quiet location in the countryside, yet ~20 min walk to the center of San Gimignano, which is in my opinion much better than staying with all the crowds in the city center. All in all, fantastic!

Nice place in Tuscany
A quick stay. The property is out from the town, so you will need a car. The breakfast is amazing. There are lots of options. We were there during the off season, so there was almost no one around.

Perfect location, close to San Gimignano (but not really "walking distance" due to busy road), it has an excellent on-site restaurant, too. Nice property, clean, rooms not too small. Due to lack of time (six night stay) I did not use pool, gym, etc... Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Very nice and friendly staff. I would most definitely stay at Sovestro again.

The lady at the front desk was so helpful when our train caused many delays and made for a late night. She made sure we were able to get to the hotel and then that we could get into the full restaurant so that we could eat. The day day arranged a driver for us as we didn’t realize there were not taxis.

Excellent staff and room and breakfast. Location is 20 to 30 minutes walk from San Gimignano village , unpaved road with great views. Bus from Pogibonzzi can stop at entrance close to hotel if you don’t have a car.

The property has been renovated recently, with modern fixtures and the shower is powerful, which I really appreciate. Our triple room is spacious and has a patio which is nice. I also appreciate that bedroom slippers were provided. So rare for a countryside hotel. This is a gem. Breakfast was very good, with pies and tarts homemade by the owners. There is a lovely spacious terrace to enjoy the views and fresh air with a view of Italian cypress trees. There is a path at the back of the property which one can track up to the town of San Gimignano. An easy track of about 30 min to the town. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return again.
