"Had a fantastic week in cabourg. The gite was clean, modern and well appointed. Centrally located to the beach and bars and restaurants. Loved cabourg itself, with the long beach/promenade. Dogs allowed on beach before 10 and after 7. Owners stayed next door, there to meet us and to chat to during week. Thanks for the cider 🍏. Would recommend and visit again. Thank you"

"We booked Ornella’s house to use it as a home base while we explored the D-Day landing beaches and Mont St. Michel. We stayed for 3 nights in March 2023. The main floor is one large and comfortably furnished room with the kitchen, living and dining rooms. There is plenty of natural light that brightens the room during the day. "nice holiday house with a country feel, in a quiet part on the hill (Mont Joli) but walking distance from the lively city of Honfleur. Really nice to enjoy the peace and quiet here when coming from a day of sightseeing. good beds, we enjoyed eating at the outdoor dining table. Kitchen was a bit on the basic side, but with restaurants nearby that is not really an issue."

The property itself was very well equipped and clean and only a stones throw from the beach. Although it states linens are provided you need to take your own towels/tea towels etc. luckily we had! "We had a lovely week in this holiday home. We would rebook for sure. Check-in was great, Charles was friendly and explained how everything worked. Four stars as there were a few things the owner could improve: 1. A welcome pack would be a nice touch, especially as we had travelled 10hours to reach the holiday home, maybe some local produce. 2.
