Pretty gites located 25 mins from Perigueux
Comfortable accommodation with plenty of outdoor space, plus pool and sitting areas Plenty of crockery, glasses, utensils etc, plus large fridge and outdoor fridge and BBQ grill Veronique and Dominique were extremely helpful and communicated well both before and during our stay Rio, their dog, was delightful, :-)

Exploring the Dordogne
Perfectly placed property to explore some of the nicest parts of the Dordogne. The property is quiet and tranquil with a lovely rustic vibe. The owners were very welcoming and gave great advice on which places to visit.

EXCELLENT SEJOUR
Les photos de l' annonce correspondent à la réalité. Le gîte est très bien (déco, confort, emplacement ...). Bel accueil de Dominique et Véronique. Nous avons apprécié le bouquet de fleurs, la bouteille de vin, les explications sur les sites touristiques, la discrétion et la réactivité de Dominique et Véronique pour solutionner le petit souci WIFI, les petites visites de Rio ... Malgré la météo capricieuse nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et bien visiter cette belle région. Que du positif !!

Wunderbarer Urlaub auf dem Land
Wir, 3 Generationen, verbrachten wunderbare, ruhige Tage in dem Ferienhaus in der Natur. Die Gastgeber sind sehr großzügig und hilfsbereit mit super Tipps für die nähere Umgebung, die reich an Sehenswürdigkeiten ist. Leider war das Wetter bescheiden, so dass die Kinder den Pool kaum nutzen konnten. Ein Auto ist erforderlich.

Excellent location for exploring the Perigord area. Lovely clean 3/4 bedroomed property with 3 ensuites, well equipped kitchen with swimming pool. Pleasant welcome from the owners and gave us good advice regarding exploring the local area.

Wir hatten eine schöne Familienzeit hier. Nettes Ambiente und gute Ausstattung - geschickte Zimmeraufteilung. Viel Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit in Haus und Garten. Der Pool war auch schon im April nutzbar - wenn auch noch kalt um diese Jahreszeit ;-) Viele Ausflugsziele waren gut erreichbar -und wir haben gar nicht geschafft, alles zu sehen. Einzig, dass man für quasi jede Aktivität ein Auto benötigt ist ein bisschen schade - darauf muss man sich einfach einstellen.

Perfektes Landhaus für entspannten Urlaub
Wir waren im Oktober 2022 zu Gast mit unseren drei Kindern in diesem urigen und zugleich modernen Landhaus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders genossen haben wir den schönen (und noch recht warmen) Pool, das Barbecue mit dem Plancha-Grill, die herrliche Umgebung (Höhlen, Kanu, Burgen, Sarlat), den Markt in Rouffignac (guter Fleischer) und das frische Gemüse direkt vom Nachbarn. Véronique und Dominique waren perfekte Gastgeber und haben uns mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt. Rio hat super auf uns aufgepasst!

Perfect!
My husband and I rented Dominque and Veronique’s guest house for two weeks in early October. I had high expectations, but this truly exceeded them all. The property was lovely indoors and out. The outdoor had a lovely pool, a charming stone wall and bamboo for privacy and was set in the idyllic Dordogne countryside. Much to my delight, there were two horses and the most charming dog imaginable. The indoors featured thick stone walls from the 1700’s, but also benefited from being modernized perfectly. The architecture was truly lovely with dramatic vaulted ceilings and rustic beams. We entertained friends and family at the house and everyone absolutely loved it. Each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom attached and we had no issues with water pressure or hot water even when six people showered in the mornings. There was also a plancha grill and a covered outdoor dining area as well as the large indoor kitchen table. Every detail of the house was thoughtfully considered. When we arrived, a welcome basket with fresh local vegetables, wine and local preserves awaited us. Our hosts even gave us two bottles of homemade apple juice! I would note that it is important to have a car to fully enjoy the area. We visited medieval villages, castles, caves, wineries, ancient subterranean churches and even took a hot air balloon. This was a trip for my husband’s 50th birthday and we will always have lovely memories of both the house and the breathtaking views of Dordogne. We hope to return soon!
