There was a fan in the apartment that was activated every time we opened the light at the bathrooms and kept going even after we closed the lights. We tried hard to connect to the TV but it was impossible.
The digital key is ok providing that your clients are really tech savvy. If not, the stay is impossible. Therefore, you alienate a big proportion of the population.
I am not happy that we had to pay for parking although it was available for clients at the basement. I believe that the parking should have been complementary the same way it was complementary for people who booked directly with the property. I felt we were penalised for booking the property with you.
Your communication was thorough though and very accurate so we knew what to do at all times. I could also easily contact a help desk that was answered by a real person. That was extremely helpful.

We attended our first AO and Ovolo South Yarra was the perfect place for us! Rooms are smaller than the typical but this is a boutique hotel and it delivered as such. We love the well designed rooms, very clean, complete amenities, eco-sustainable options. The staff was incredibly lovely, quality of food at the restaurant was high but reasonably priced. The game room and lounge downstairs was impeccably designed and such a cool place to hang.
We never needed to use our car so garaged approximately 2 blocks away and paid only $6/day after the hotel discount. The free trams around the city and in and out of the tennis venues were so convenient.
LOVE THIS HOTEL. Will book again for next year’s AO!

The apartments were clean, location was good, however unfortunately one of the apartments had a rather unpleasant smell which did not disappear when aired. Air conditioning was located only in the lounge which did not efficiently cool the bedrooms when it was hot. Fans in the bedrooms would be a great addition. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient section of Melbourne city.
