The hotel rooms are looking a little tired. Even in the refurbished rooms the bathrooms are not really up to scratch. Cracked bath sides, plug hole was full
Of hair so the bath didn’t drain.
The bar staff on the 7/2/24 were no where to be seen a lot of the night there was just one poor lad on who wasn’t behind the bar a lot. The bar lacks any kind of atmosphere and the music doesn’t help 🙈
lots of the staff were nice but the lady behind the cafe in the spa bar I’ve seen on numerous times and is quite miserable and doesn’t smile ! Was the same last time we visited too with her.
Reception staff were lovely though.
We visited about 4 x now and I think this will be our last visit.

All staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming.
We booked a room for 3 adults which was clean, really large and spacious with partial views of the lake. Shower was great, really powerful.Variety of teas, coffees and biscuits to choose from in the room.
Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety to choose from from continental and cooked breakfast.
Hotel grounds are beautiful, well kept and cared for.
