"What an amazing cabin! If you are looking for solitude, this is it! This was a much needed retreat from the constant noise and light pollution of living near Chicago. So very peaceful and relaxing! The pictures truly don't do this place justice. So many wonderful details....and that shower! Hubs and I Loved it!!! If it weren't for the scheduled lawn maintenence, we would not have seen or heard another person during our two night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely stay...

"Wonderful place!! Very clean! Loft area has a short ceiling - perfect for kids, but didn’t bother the adults.. There was a keurig but no coffee, only hot cocoa, Coffee would be a nice addition. There was a store, a very short walk down the road, which was convenient to grab things that we forgot. Owner was extremely responsive"

"We really enjoyed this "tiny cabin." It's very well laid out and outfitted for two (or maybe as many as four?) people. We loved watching the fireflies around the firepit. And it was very easy from there to get into Grayson Highlands state parks for some very nice day hikes."

"It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days. We went the 2nd day to see the ponies! The hot tub was very relaxing. It was also nice to sit out on the porch on the rocking chairs. "We found the cabin to be enjoyable. The mission of our trip was to trout fish, which we did...however we traveled to a different creek that we had fished before. The Grassy creek that we were on is a delayed harvest, so we could not keep anything from it. It was a great place to come back to to enjoy a quiet evening!"

"The property was very nice, bare bones in the kitchen, you have to bring everything for clean up. Bath towels were subpar. Back deck was covered with pollen Lost water pressure for 14 hours, plumber came and fixed. Back of property needs a good clean up. Broken backboard needs to be removed. The grill was terrible, I have pics of it. Very quiet area, fishing was terrible, high water along with bad spawns. This is a nice cabin, owners need to do a little more for guests to make it great."

"The home has 4 (-5) bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen, beautiful front decks with gorgeous mountain views. I t is a wonderful place to have family time! It is pet-friendly (a requirement for us.) We stayed 3 nights-not nearly long enough. We loved the home. It is about 15-25 minutes from towns (West Jefferson is very nice) but convenient to New River water activities, hiking, Grayson Highlands State Park (loved the wild ponies! and hiking waterfalls,) Mount Jefferson hikes, etc."

"Charming, spacious and peaceful. It was the perfect vacation for us. Loved spending every morning doing devotions on the deck overlooking the New River with a hot cup of coffee. Good restaurants, shopping and attractions close by, yet we were out in the country. During our stay, other vacationers began arriving with their horses for New River Trail riding and we got to "visit" with some of the horses. It was just wonderful. We didn't want to come home. Hoping to stay again soon!"
