The best part about this property was its outstanding staff members. They went above and beyond with what little staff they had off for the holidays and made sure we were taken care of. The 4 star ratings that have been given to this property, however, needs to be revisited and reconsidered. The room I was given with my husband had a broken refrigerator, broken bedside lamp, broken bathroom heater, and stained furniture and curtains. Breakfast was also very limited, we paid €15 per person but I had to boil my own eggs and the food tray was never refilled with scrambled eggs- that was disappointing. Overall, the Augustin is not what is advertised as a 4 stars hotel- proceed when booking with caution.

My brother and I absolutely love this property! It was a 3 minute walk away from the train station. 5 mins walk away from a grocery store & casino. The room was exceptionally clean. Do not be intimidated by the stairs. The check in went really smooth so was the check out. My brother and I would definitely be back here with our parents and we both highly recommend this property to our friends and family who needs a hotel in Brussels!
