This small cottage is located on 60 acres outside of Roundtop. Peaceful and comfortable, this vintage decorated cottage has all the modern comforts. An outside patio area has string lights hung over a table and chairs along with a fire pit and barbeque grill to put you in the center of country relaxation. Property has plenty of wildlife to enjoy in this rustic getaway. This cottage is a quiet place of refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy a full kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. Cottage has 1 bedroom with queen size bed and an additional queen size bed in loft. $165.00/ night for 2 guests. Additional guests will be charged $35.00 per person, per night. Owners home is located on the property to assist with any needs during your stay.

Stayed overnight for a wedding in the area. The owners were so sweet and attentive to any needs. Very nice fire pit with sitting area and string lights directly outside the cabin. Cabin was clean and tidy. Short distance to Brenham or Round Top. I would highly recommend.

The Peace of Country Cottage is actually a Piece of Heaven on earth, especially if you are looking for comfort and tranquility. Jean and Jim are the most gracious hosts. Their attention to every little detail is unmatched. We hope to stay there again on our next visit to Round Top.

The BEST little vacation spot we have stayed at!
We needed a place to stay for a family wedding and this house was PERFECT!! The host were the kindest and most thoughtful hose ever! They provided everything needed for roasting marshmallows (they even provided fire starters for the fire pit), mints on your pillows, lotions, tums, feminine products, ice cream, sodas and water, snacks, movies, and more!! It was seriously the best place ever!! I can’t wait to go back and bring my mom for the antique shows.

A little piece of Heaven!
This sweet little cabin is a reflection of its owners! Jim and Jean came out yo greet us as soon as we arrived! They are such a sweet couple. There attention to detail is remarkable! They have provided everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The property is beautiful. The drive in feels like a secret garden. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place!! We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this cute little cottage! Perfect place for a short drive into Roundtop/Warrenton for Antiques week. The cottage is in the trees, with a nice outdoor sitting area to enjoy the sounds of birds chirping and sunrise/sunset! Hosts were welcoming and cottage had all the things (and much more) that you would need for a stay! Thank you for having us.

Trip to Round Top
I would highly recommend this tiny home, we had a fabulous stay! The house is well appointed, very comfortable and has everything you need. Its also surprisingly spacious and has a gorgeous outdoor porch and entertaining area, complete with a fire pit with beautiful outdoor lighting. The Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and had left snacks, assorted drinks in the fridge, ice creams in the freezer, tea and coffee. This tiny home is a real gem and very close to Round Top and all the fairs (Blue Hills, Marburgher, etc). I would highly recommend it for anyone coming to the area. We will definately be back. Thank You so much Jim and Jean, it was a real pleasure meeting you both.

My two daughters (in their 20's) and I went for Round Top shopping weekend. The cottage is several miles away but the drive went quickly into town and the setting is beautiful. The hosts of the property were friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the firepit and roasting marshmallows one evening. This was a very comfortable and nice stay.
