"Stayed over Christmas, second time here. Honestly it's one of my favourite places to stay. It's a little bit outside of the usual tourist city places so it's a little quieter, especially on the weekends. But it's within walking distance to spots like Spitalfields market, brick lane and a 30 min walk to Borough market. "The property is well maintained. Location is perfect , we were able to walk to quiet a few attractions. I believe we had queen bed in reservation , we got 2 doubles instead which are tucked side by side. Not sure if that is standard practice but that was a little uncomfortable to share. I will give 10 stars for the staff at the front desk and breakfast area, always approachable and responsive. "

"The place itself was fantastic and great value to be right by Millennium Bridge! Rooms were clean, gym was new(ish), and had everything you could want in a hotel. Only issue was a lack of hot water (not sure what the issue was)! "

Battled to work the microwave (it's built into the oven) and the hob... - even though the instructions were available but eventually figured it out. "Lovely apartment. Lovely staff who checked us in. Walkable distance to the underground. We wanted a car park space but there weren’t any available. The receptionist said we could park on the street for free as it was weekend, which we were more than happy with. Will definitely stay again. "

" Lacking the charm I found in other hotels through England, my suite was nonetheless comfortable, spacious, bright and clean. One of the receptionists was very unpleasant but the other was friendly and helpful. The extra charge to check in an hour early was insulting, even though I had called ahead and was not informed of this policy. There is no safe place to store luggage prior to check-in or after check-out. Overall it was ok, but nothing would impel me to stay there again. "

"The Presidential Serviced Apartments in Kensington, London were great. We enjoyed a spacious environment with comfortable beds, and a fully working kitchen. The washing machine was a bonus. "This place is amazing! Not only is it trendy, the staff is phenomenal, the room was spacious and clean with a huge bathroom, and great amenities. "I have to say, my stay at Strand Palace was amazing for many reasons. They got to know that I have planned my stay to celebrate my 20th marriage anniversary. It was nice to witness how they decorate the room with Balloons and provided special chocolates and two bottle of champaign (although we do not drink alcohol they immediately changed it to any drink we desire from the hotel restaurant) The hotel staff are so welcoming and very attentive to what ask for, they were also very helpful when asked for any guide for our walk around the city. During our stay, at midnight, the fire alarm went on, I have to give all of their staff the credit of how organized they were with the evacuation process, the marshalls were on spot with every single details in the evacuation process and coordination with the fire fighting team, thank god it was just a smoke from a room and we were all back to our rooms. one of the great things about this hotel is every attraction in central london is a walking distance, if not, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, or take a 3 to 5 minutes walk to the underground. The only downside was the room size, it was to small but manageable. Having this all in mind, you can never go wrong in staying here, i would definitely lodge back here again on my next trip to London"

"The Yotel is in a fantastic position with Farrington Underground station only about 250 metres away. There are also heaps of bus stops within 100 metres, even though I never used the buses. Everywhere I needed or wanted to go to were only a few stops away on the tube. The Elizabeth Line got me to most places (including back to Heathrow) and the other lines I used (Circle, Metropolitan, etc) were also handy to anywhere I wanted to visit. Once you get used to the tube lines it's very easy to get around. As for the staff, they have all been great. Friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to go to and best trains to catch. My room was only a single and I was a bit disappointed with the lack of wardrobe space. There was a tiny bed-side table with a roll-out shelf for my laptop, as well as 2 small drawers for smaller clothing items. More annoying was the lack of a kettle to boil water to make a coffee or tea. In fact there was no coffee or tea in the room. Nor was there any crockery and cutlery, which makes sense when you can't make yourself a hot drink! I spent a lot of time in the cafeteria, which is where you can get your meals throughout the day as well as setting up the laptop to do some work, check emails, etc. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found the convenience to everywhere the best part of my time here."
