「Property and robin hood’s bay are lovely. However if you are remotely mobility impaired this is maybe not for you. Steep hills and steps everywhere including access to property. Stairway in property is treacherous.」

「The cottage is compact, but every inch of space is used to the maximum to make it a very comfortable, cosy place to base yourself. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. The living area is tiny, but with a comfy sofa and armchair is fine to hang out in. The stairs are very steep, especially to the attic bedroom (come down in reverse and use the rope provided!) 「A lovely cottage on 4 floors (steep narrow stairs!) close to the beach, coastal path and village amenities. Warm, comfortable, well equipped, with the added advantage of a parking space. Recommended!」

「Great stay for four nights. Good accommodation, easy access, good communication from the host. Quirky old building, make sure you visit the museum to understand the history of the bay. Well located for walks to Whitby and into the moors.」

「This should be an absolute gem of a cottage, but isn't. It is unclean with damp and mould in the lounge from a leaking bath above. It is tatty and in need of a bit of TLC. Dogs are only allowed in the kitchen - something they don't tell you in the description. They say there's a parking permit. There isn't, just a note to put in your car. Unfortunately, this wasn't accepted and we got a fine. Tried to communicate with owner but 6 weeks later still no response. Really disappointing as Robin Hoods...
