"This is one of my favourite places near Robertson. Beautiful setting with a little pond you can overlook from the bar. In the evening phantastic atmosphere and vwry peaceful. Also the staff very friendly and I received an excellent breakfast. Had been here before when it still was Rosendal Winery. Now new owners who have some excellent ideas how to develop the place. I really enjoyed the discussion with them. Hope to come back one day and see the further development"

"This hotel is exceptional . We got upgraded to the swim put room, the sun was on the pool until sun it was glorious to sit there with a glass of wine be able to swim in the pool overlooks the perfectly manicured mountains. The room is beautifully decorated to a very high standard, large king size bed and soft drink and tea and coffee. We ate dinner in the hotel - only dinners so treated to great service . The menu is much more expensive than other places we’ve experienced in South Africa...

"This is a really lovely setting, with the rooms facing onto the property's vineyard setting. Everything is very comfortable and clean. The new owner Estelle is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and concerned that our visit was perfect. Her dinner recommendation (22 on Church) was one of the best meals we had in a 9-day trip to the Cape region of South Africa. "We had two nights at this lovely old guest house and were welcomed with a lovely cold glass of wine after a hot day on the road. Unfortunately we were not able to shower as there was no hot water pressure. `There was also a bad smell from the drains. This was a bit of a problem as the weather was extremely hot. I think it would be a good idea to install showers rather than only having an old victorian bath with a handheld shower attachment. The breakfast was very good. The location was ideal...
