「The inn is a great spot on the water and walkable to anything you would want to do, see, or need in Manteo. Definitely make time to eat in the 1587 lounge. Great service and food..... that is saying a lot for us because we normally are biased to cooking ourselves and very rarely find restaurants impressive or worth returning to. Our meal here was both. 「Loved this property in the heart of Manteo!! We spent a lot of time walking which is exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway. Very charming and when it rained the breezeway was a cozy alternative to umbrellas! We enjoyed this place very much, highly recommend!!」

「So it’s an older place. The stove needed updating (room 5 had a 1970 something stove that the burners barely worked on unless on high, which then set the smoke detector off. Also the oven would never heat up to use!) The beds are only full sized double beds and aren’t that comfortable. The rooms were very clean though. Room 9 was very nice but it was not an efficiency.
