"This cozy room was the perfect location and an incredible price for being right in the heart of Manhattan, steps from Penn Station and a variety of subway options. Lots of local cuisine all around, safe and secure as well as clean. A little noisy but in Manhattan that is a given and nothing do about it. "

"Be aware. This is a low-rise building in the east village. There is street noise. But that’s what you get when you stay on a real New York block, near NYU and awesome restaurants and such. The hotel’s communication is excellent. Rooms are small (it’s New York City!), but comfortable, functional, and clean. If you’re here to be a part of “real” New York, you’ll embrace the (supplied) earplugs and the street noise that New Yorkers accept as part of life. And if that’s you, you’ll love this place...

"Fantastic well appointed apartments and updated amenities with full kitchen, good quality beds, nice gym, small but convenient business center and super friendly staff (every single front desk employee both daytime and evening are welcoming and helpful). Only one negative is laundry room, although very convenient, machines and overall laundry could use an upgrade. In general the hotel is quiet despite the busy rooftop restaurant. "

"Very clean, modern accommodations. Perfect for families; we have 2 teens and the 3 room apartment was perfect for us. Subway entrances were within a block in any direction from the hotel so you could be anywhere in manhattan within a few minutes. Plenty of dining options on the block along with a CVS and other convenience stores. Staff was freindly and helpful."

"The room was well kept and the toiletries were complete. The shower space is a little too small though but there was a lot of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available. The dispenser pump of the shampoo was defective though. The staff were accommodating and quickly responded to requests for assistance such as cleaning arrangements. The online check-in and check-out experience was seamless and convenient. Generally, our experience was quite good. "

One thing, one of the mattresses was rock solid — the owners should invest in at least a mattress topper. The water in the shower gets extremely nice and hot, and the other tenants were very friendly. Another weird thing, “an exterminator” came in the morning during one of the days we stayed around 9am, and tried to barge in and “exterminate”. That was uncomfortable, and he had a key. "As it happened, the place was full of high school seniors conducting college tours. Unfortunately, they were up making noise in the hallways all night long, which sucked, but otherwise nice stay. Also, the hotel is under renovation. We were fortunate to get one of the "new" rooms. One person described the difference between the new rooms and the old rooms as being the same as the difference between heaven and hell. Great place, but be sure to get a "new" room!"
