Brilliantly located on the best campsite in Zeeland, close to the sea and almost on the dunes. These were the decisive arguments for us when the chalet was newly built by Arcabo.
We had it furnished with three bedrooms and seven beds, so that four adults and three children can be comfortably accommodated. The bathroom is generously sized with a large shower and washbasin, and the WC is separate.
A large dining table for seven with comfortable armchairs and a cosy corner couch were also important. Two Smart TVs with cable reception, free internet via WiFi and a Sonos music system for media entertainment.
The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need, including a gas hob and combi oven for convection, microwave and grill. And of course there is a fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and Senseo coffee machine.
In front of the chalet there is a cosy seating area with a large parasol on the terrace, as well as a small garden. Parking is available free of charge for two cars in the car park directly in front of the chalet.
The minimum rental period is 7 nights during the holidays and in the season, arrival day is usually Saturday from 16:00. The chalet must be left swept clean by 10:00 am on the day of departure. A final cleaning fee of 90,- Euro is included in the price, a deposit of 200,- Euro will not be collected if the chalet is left properly and swept clean (all rubbish disposed of, dishwasher, fridge & cupboards empty and clean).
Due to a change of service partner, we are currently unable to offer a laundry service. You must therefore bring your own bed linen. The beds all have a size of 80x200 cm, the existing ticking 135x200 cm and pillows 80x80 cm, partly also 40x80 cm.
Please always remember to bring your own towels, tea towels and bath mats.
The Julianahoeve camping and beach resort is one of the most beautiful family parks in the Netherlands near the popular seaside resort of Renesse (1.5 km away). For years it has been repeatedly recognised by the ADAC and others as THE best 5-star luxury campsite and has received the coveted ADAC Superplatz 2024 classification! This makes it one of the front runners when it comes to a wide range of facilities, beautiful grounds, entertainment and much more:
https://www.julianahoeve.nl/de/-adac-superplatz-2024
The campsite's facilities are now open all year round, except for a short winter break from 10 January to 5 February.
Julianahoeve offers everything for the family, maximum comfort and relaxation for young and old. It has its own indoor pool with two 80 metre slides, an outdoor spray park, steam sauna and whirlpool.
Various outdoor playgrounds, a fitness park, an indoor playground, a children's cinema and various activities offer fun and variety. All activities are described in detail on the website and in a dedicated app.
And the beautiful Zuid-Zuid-West Pavilion right on the beach is another highlight.
Please note:
- The tourist tax of the municipality is paid directly by us, here in the portal the fees for this are listed as "administration fee" and amount to € 1.52 per person per night.
- In order for Julianahoeve to know how many people are on the site, all visitors must register with Julianahoeve. We start this and our visitors then enter the details of all visitors via a direct link at Julianahoeve. On arrival, you will then quickly receive the keys to your chalet and access cards to the site at reception.
- A fee is payable directly to Julianahoeve for all campsite facilities (€4.50 per person per day for visitors aged 2 and over).
- This fee IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE, unfortunately we cannot arrange otherwise.
The facilities at Julianahoeve include entry to the indoor swimming pool, all entertainment for the children, playgrounds and Wi-Fi throughout the site.
- Rentals to young people travelling alone and pets are not allowed on the campsite!
not allowed on the campsite!
- E-cars can be charged at the charging stations at the reception and car parks in front of the barrier, charging at the chalet is prohibited!
In addition to the wide range of activities and entertainment for children, the two restaurants directly on the campsite are particularly great.
In addition to the trendy Foodcourt42 right by the swimming pool, the Eb & Vloed restaurant deserves a special mention: stylish, with outstanding cuisine and first-class service!
There is also a supermarket on the square with a very wide range of products at reasonable prices.
In summer, there is always something going on on the central square, with entertainment and bouncy castles for the little ones as well as various events and parties and food for the grown-ups.
The best way to discover Zeeland is of course by bike!
In collaboration with Beachweb Sports, Julianahoeve offers bike hire. Booking and paying is easy to do online. The bikes are delivered to your pitch free of charge between 13:00 and 16:00 and collected again on the day of departure. You can collect the keys from reception. If you would like to use the bikes earlier that day, please contact Beachweb Sports on 0031 111 463 520.
The best routes and tips for nice stops can be found in the holiday magazine that you will receive on arrival.
The private beach access is only about 450 steps away, the wonderfully relaxing Zuid-Zuid-West beach pavilion, blessed with great food and snacks, is right next door.
The beach right on the doorstep is gently sloping without breakwaters and extremely wide at low tide with wonderful sandbanks.
To the left is a kilometre-long, wide dune beach and the Verklikkerduinen nature reserve is a good 8 km or 1.5 hours' walk away. And even in the height of summer, the wide dunes are almost deserted.
On the right, you will find various great beach pavilions and after about 5 kilometres you will reach the Brouwersdam, which separates the North Sea from the Grevelingen Sea.
The Kabelaarsbank area around the Brouwersdam Zeil & Surf Centre is a popular spot for windsurfers. It is particularly suitable for beginners as there are plenty of standing areas, no tides and hardly any waves.
The sea side around the Beach Club Natural High is reserved for kitesurfers and beach surfers. Great atmosphere and kiting into the sunset included.
And right on the beach with lots of beautiful pavilions for further highlights.
There really is no reason to go anywhere else.
So, what more could you want ... ?
