"Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive. The Chateau looks amazing on arrival and even more so in the evening. It has a fabulous pool area and the views over the surround countryside are stunning. Our room was lovely which also had amazing views. There is parking on site and we had breakfast booked which was good. The village is a stones throw and definitely worth going to visit. "

"The rural setting was perfect - so peaceful - just what we needed. A soaring buzzard and a few tiny lizards in the garden were the only regular visitors 😂!! "Took wife, daughter and her friend. It was a long way from the nearest autoroute but a lovely drive through France. It took about 7 hours from Caen (will fly to Bergerac next time) The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. Comfy beds, well-catered kitchen, good WiFi. Nearby (1k walk) Monpazier had everything we needed, 2 x Boulangerie, v important, lots of bars, especially the Bier de la Bastide. The Michelin Star Edward I hotel and restaurant is worth every penny but don't bring young...
