"Nice hotel in an area a little away from the main points of Quintero. I had a few problems with the service in the hotel. Rude housekeeping because on the morning that they knocked the door to clean the room we had yet to put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. The housekeeper was extremely rude. The next day after the room had been cleaned there were no towels in the room. I called reception (after i had got out of the shower!) and it took more than 20 minutes for towels to arrive. "They have a fantastic ocean view, very welcoming and eco-friendly. Playa La Boca is a great place for beginner surfers too. They have multiple outdoor spaces with ocean views. I would only recommend some more cushions on the outdoor searing and that Marley doesnt bark before 9am, but he is a sweet dog."

"The location of this hotel takes away your breathe. To open the windows at night and listening to the Pacific is sublime. The Spa is really wonderful. My only complaint is that the breakfast doesn't seem as good as it once was."

"This property had a wonderful spacious room. The view was absolutely the best I've ever had in any room with huge panoramic windows that have side windows that open. We saw sea lions swimming in front of the hotel right out our window. On the right evening the sunset would be unbelievable. We were late getting there and the owners kept in contact and let us in late. Just a fantastic stay! "

"Installations was a little bit old, we could see some ants in the room. When we booked, it said there was a laundry service but finally it wasn't true but they still tried to accommodate us and did our laundry. The service was really good. For a 2 star hotel, it is really good but it was the same price as some 4 stars hotels."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, fantastic views. The pool was very nice and we very much enjoyed the jacuzzi. Most of the staff was very friendly. They were over 40 minutes late both days with breakfast which was included with our stay. There was also a problem with being overcharged by the hotel but it was resolved quickly."

"The home is lovely with lots of greenery out side. The location was near transportation services giving easy access to all the sights. The service was good, the interior was clean, our room was bright and roomy. A friendly, cheery, place to be."

"We were close to various stores and restaurants as well as the coast. They had a great laundry service and that helped with our clothes. Their breakfast was delicious each day. Their staff was nice and helpful. The swimming pool was not the best feature so that was disappointing."

"Lovely, clean, comfortable place with really nice hosts. They were so helpful with restaurant reservations and tour reservations. The home is located in a nice neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a small boutique option."

"The owners and staff at the hotel were incredible! So nice and friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed being served breakfast by Lucas. It is lovely to see they actually practise inclusion. The hotel itself could do with a little bit of TLC, especially the bathrooms. The food was very nice with a choice of lovely Chilean dishes every day. Very personalised attention and the location is fantastic. I was there for work and I didn’t have an iron in my room but they basically ran to the store...

"The Hotel Boutique 17 is a wonderful place. I cannot say enough good about it. The entire staff is great, from the front desk to the cleaning personel to the waiters at the restaurant. They are compitent and pleasant. The restaurant /bar has the best view in town and really good food. And the rooms are spacios, clean, and comfortable. I wish I had stayed there a month"

Unique, with great views from every room.

"This is a unique place with beautiful oceanfront views from every room. Very funky as each room is made from a shipping container. Because of that, the rooms are long and narrow, so there is just a little aisle to get by on the side of the bed. You need to be willing to walk steps, as there is no elevator and the breakfast area is on the 5th floor. Speaking of breakfast, it was a wonderful buffet, and the views from that rooftop are even more expansive that the room views. If you're used to 5-star hotels with room service and every room like the Waldorf Astoria, this is not for you. But if you want a unique hotel experience that you'll be sure to tell your friends, try this place."

"The rooms, reminiscent of the '90s and lacking proper maintenance, offer disappointing views unless you opt for a sea view; otherwise, expect a view of a wall. Guests are required to adhere to numerous regulations, with a penalty of $250 USD for any infringements, including restrictions on playing music anywhere or consuming beverages outside their rooms. Despite its higher price point for the area, the hotel fails to provide comfort. The furniture is both low-cost and uncomfortable, more akin to what you'd find in dormitory settings. Given its expansive size, the property faces challenges in maintaining cleanliness. The staff, predominantly young, seem disengaged and less inclined towards hospitality, often appearing more as security personnel than hotel staff."
