Our second stay at hotel California and it's busier it's changed. The location is awesome, the view, the jungle, the ocean and nature.

Nicely maintained property with nice views. At sunset we were always visited by a toucan! This was a great place to stay. Pool was great to have.

Staff is great.

Josué at check in is great ! Our room had some black mold on the bathroom ceiling. But the hotel was also being repainted so I would think that will be taken care of soon.

Bel endroit.

Bel endroit. Belle vue. Tranquille. Facilement accessible. Deux petits hic cependant : réfrigérateur tellement bruyant qu’il a fallu l’installer dans la salle de bain et à quoi bon avoir un balcon avec vue magnifique s’il faut s’installer sur des chaises en métal on ne peut plus incorfortables.

This hotel is very good, nice view from the rooms and the breakfast restaurant. The hotel has a collab with a restaurant el Arado that serves delicious dinner and the picks you up or bring the food to you. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, beautiful view, poor breakfast

Mostly I would recommend this hotel. Staff is really helpful, room was relatively clean, mattress okay, good pillows. The fridge inside my room did not work but they a nice coffee machine which was not in the pics. Bathroom was clean and the balcony was lovely. The downside of my room is that you can't really close the doors of the balcony because the bed is blocking the way. You need to be quite strong to move the bed if you don't want to wake with the sunrise at 5 am. Breakfast food was edible, but not tasty. The view from the breakfast area is breathtaking and it was worth the poor feeding. It can be a bit tricky to find the hotel but it is well located if you are using Waze.

Slightly off main road - 2 minutes - giving a quiet and unhurried experience. My room had an ocean view. Avery good breakfast is included. I lucked out and the second night we had about a 30 minute rain in the evening, a perfect way to begin to drift off to sleep.

Experiencia regular

Mi experiencia no fue tan buena. En primer lugar el costo del hotel se me hace elevado tomando en cuanta las condiciones del hotel, en fotos se ve muy diferente a como es en realidad, no digo que este mal pero no es lo esperado conforme a su precio. Mi habitacion no funciono el aire acondicionado por lo cual abri la ventana porque tampoco tienen ventilador esto ocaciono que en la noche se metieran miles de mosquitos y hicieran una noche de pesadilla sumando las hormigas y demas insectos que se metieron. El agua de la alberca era de comor verde y no se veia tan limpia, el restaurant donde esta el buffet en desayuno tiene laminas esta muy descuidado e improvisado no digo que este mal pero no esta acorde al precio del hotel, wifi solo en recepcion. Lo unico que si tengo que reconocer es que al estar desayunando tipo 8:30 am llegaron changuitos, sin exagerar serian como 100 y si fue buena experiencia interactuar con ellos.

Pros: Very accessible to Manuel Antonio national park. Good breakfast. Bar/dinner open until 10pm with decent food. Clean pool. You can see iguanas and birds like toucans. Cons: Internet is horrible in the rooms. Room cleanliness.

Medium hotel with nice view

Hotel has a nice view but the beach is very dar away. Room was OK but common areas like the Pool, need some renovation. Pool is small also. The room is confortable and clean and is big. Hotel was OK for us for one night only. Food is good

Discrepancia relación precio calidad

Si bien el hotel está bien, estimo que es caro en relación al precio pagado. La primer falla es lo dificultoso de encontrar y llegar al hotel. Las piezas son muy amplias, limpias, bien equipadas y excelente vista.
