"Need somewhere to stay for a trade show in Nuremberg. Didn't want to pay trade show prices and as I was flying into Munich I had the opportunity to say somewhere else. "We had a very warm welcome at Gasthof Krone. The formalities didn't take long and were immediately followed by a glass of local larger on the house. It was all the more pleasant given that the staff were happy to speak English to us. The meal at the restaurant was a good-quality home-made selection of local specialities. "The very convenient during a road trip. It’s a rest stop with a hotel, located next to a gas station and McDonalds. The A/C barely worked and changed to heat on its own during the night. Cant open windows because there aren’t screens on them and there are bugs everywhere. The floors were covered in pet hair and the hotel is just in poor shape. It needs some TLC."
