This is unique old structure that is charming, despite the construction. Good breakfast, excellent bellhop service and on a pedestrian only street with occasional taxi pick up. Has a true old euro feel, a healthy walk to river area.

The hotel itself is amazing. The location is also fantastic. The bed in the room is absolutely ATROCIOUS! The worst night sleep ever. For a hotel that looks as beautiful as that to have such a horrible bed with the springs digging in your back is unacceptable! Its the equivalent to how homeless people sleep in the street. PLEASE GET BETTER BEDS AND BEDDING!!

The staff are really kind, breakfast was really good and abundant with choices. Hotel seemed old but really well maintained and clean, decoration was really nice. Two things I didn’t like. Rooms were really really small. As in double bed plus under one meter space around the bed and that was it. They didn’t have any lotion, conditioner, etc, only soap for both shower and hands. Also no plugs available only a usb charger or plug in the bathroom. Is close to metro, bus, restaurants and stores, very crowded area, centric to walk around Porto.
